Doll funeral (In Memory of Memory) (2022)

An intimate theater of artifacts, where everyone sitting at the table can look at the hard-to-read handwriting of the performer, hear recordings from his school lectures, read the story of the sad loss and touch the coin flattened by the train. Personal history.

The confession of the scenographer who, after February 2022, tries to put together a mosaic of memories from clippings and objects of memory. Loss of both identity, language, and faith in people and in oneself. The hope to find at least something in the past to cling to. An intimate object performance about our ability to keep the most important thing. Personal papers, objects and everything accumulated during the artist’s life.
